Delivery of Orders

We will send out bare rooted iris rhizomes from the end of August until the end of October.

If you live in Northern Europe or central Spain, planting is best in early September so that the roots can establish before the winter cold sets in. For Mediterranean areas, September to November planting is good and will hopefully coincide with autumn rains. Please indicate when you would prefer delivery.

If these dates are not convenient, please email us. We are happy to pot up your order and keep it for collection only later in the autumn. This may suit people who have winter holiday homes in the area and want to reserve their order but are not around in September or October.

It will help us greatly if you can order as early as possible, particularly as some varieties are limited. If you are looking for a special iris, please ask as we may have it in the pipeline.

We will acknowledge your order by email and will give an approximate shipment date.

  • SUBSTITUTES: Sometimes when we come to dig up the iris we find that there are not as many plants as we had anticipated. We will substitute a similar iris of equal or greater value unless you tick NO on the order form.
  • GUARANTEE: We promise that all our plants are true to name and we guarantee to send good quality, healthy rhizomes many of which will flower the following year.
  • WHOLESALE ORDERS: Please ask for our wholesale prices.

We are unable to send orders outside the European Union.
