Louisiana Irises

LOUISIANA IRISES AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER ONLY AS BARE-ROOTED RHIZOMES

Large, vigorous plants needing plenty of room, allow up to 1m square per rhizome.  Need a damp environment, love water and a rich, slightly acid soil with added manure and mulch.   Louisianas bloom here during mid-May with our tall bearded irises and make a spectacular display well over 1m high!

From Louisiana in the deep south of the USA, they love a hot Mediterranean climate but will tolerate light frosts.
