Visiting The Gardens

WE ARE NOW OPEN AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE 15TH MAY EVERY DAY.

GARDEN VISIT:  5 euros per person,  children free of charge.

Visits out of season by special arrangement, please contact us.

We are often asked about coach visits but our road is too dangerous and narrow and NOT suitable for large coaches, we CAN accommodate a micro-bus which seats 24 people maximum.

Much better to come by car and park in our large carpark.

Wear sensible shoes and bring warm clothes as it is colder in the mountains!

Disabled access is limited due to different levels and gravel paths.

Teas and coffees and homemade cakes available.                                                                                                                                                                For 2015 we have a large selection of roses for sale in pots, other unusual plants and many bare-rooted irises.

Music is often performed in the gardens, see website for details but definitely on 1st May

The show begins from the middle of March when the gardens are colourful with narcissus, tulips and other bulbs to lift our spirits and to herald the arrival of spring!     Our exciting bloom season is beginning. (We must have 50,000 spring bulbs in the ground!)  Tulips continue until mid April.

Mid April to mid May -  Tall bearded iris in bloom.  Full bloom around 8th May.

The month of May is for Roses.  In full bloom around 10th of the month.  There are 1,000 in the ground with 300 varieties.  Enjoy ramblers, modern David Austin or historic French Teas and Noisettes.

This garden is one of Spain's best kept secrets............just waiting to be discovered and enjoyed!    No amount of description can do it justice.

Take a day out and enjoy Spring in the mountains.  There are several good local restaurants and wild flowers everywhere too.
